The IPL 2025 auction was exciting and full of surprises. Teams spent huge amounts of money to get the best players for the next season. The 10 teams spent INR 639.15 crore on 182 players in two days. Many records were broken as teams competed to buy top players. Big names like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer got massive bids. IPL 2025 Expensive Players List

1. Rishabh Pant – INR 27 Crore (Lucknow Super Giants)

Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in IPL history. Lucknow Super Giants bought him for INR 27 crore after a fierce bidding war. Pant is a power-hitter and has scored 3,284 runs in 111 matches. He will be a key player for Lucknow.

2. Shreyas Iyer – INR 26.75 Crore (Punjab Super Kings)

Punjab Super Kings bought Shreyas Iyer for INR 26.75 crore. Iyer is a consistent batsman with 3,127 runs in 115 IPL matches. He is also a strong leader and is expected to captain Punjab in the upcoming season.

3. Venkatesh Iyer – INR 23.75 Crore (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Kolkata Knight Riders spent INR 23.75 crore to bring back Venkatesh Iyer. The all-rounder has scored 1,326 runs in 50 IPL matches. His ability to perform with both bat and ball makes him a valuable player for Kolkata.

4. Arshdeep Singh – INR 18 Crore (Punjab Super Kings)

Punjab Super Kings retained Arshdeep Singh for INR 18 crore using the Right to Match (RTM) card. Arshdeep is a talented left-arm pacer with 76 wickets in 65 IPL matches. He is known for his excellent bowling in tough situations.

5. Yuzvendra Chahal – INR 18 Crore (Punjab Super Kings)

Punjab Super Kings also bought Yuzvendra Chahal for INR 18 crore. Chahal is IPL’s all-time leading wicket-taker with 205 wickets in 160 matches. His experience and skill will strengthen Punjab’s spin attack.
