Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained three foreign players Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, and Travis Head alongside promising Indian players Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy. B The team wants to keep the group that took them to the IPL 2023 finals. They hope to have the same great performances and high scores again. Heinrich Klaasen

Heinrich Klaasen is a powerful wicketkeeper-batsman from South Africa. In 35 matches, he has scored 993 runs with a high score of 104, averaging 38.19 and boasting a strong strike rate of 168.30. Known for his explosive batting, Klaasen has hit 56 fours and 64 sixes, adding crucial runs for his team.

In IPL 2024 with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Klaasen played 16 matches and scored 479 runs at an average of 39.91, with a strike rate of 171.07. Although he didn’t score any centuries, he made four fifties and smashed 19 fours and 38 sixes.

In IPL 2023, also with SRH, he had an outstanding season, scoring 448 runs in 12 matches with an average of 49.77. His top score of 104 and a strike rate of 177.07 made him a valuable player, as he hit 32 fours and 25 sixes.

Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins has been a key bowler and captain for Sunrisers in IPL 2024. Over 58 matches, he has taken 63 wickets with an economy rate of 8.74. His best figures, 4/34, show his ability to break partnerships, with an average of 30.52 and a strike rate of 20.9.

In IPL 2024, Cummins played 16 matches for SRH, taking 18 wickets with an average of 31.44. His best figures of 3/43 and an economy of 9.27 provided crucial breakthroughs. In IPL 2022 with KKR, he took 7 wickets in 5 matches, with a best of 3/22.

Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma is a versatile batsman in the IPL. In 63 matches, he has scored 1,377 runs with a strike rate of 155.24 and an average of 25.50. While he hasn’t scored a century, his seven half-centuries show his potential. He has hit 128 fours and 73 sixes.

Travis Head

Travis Head is a strong left-handed batsman known for his aggressive batting style. In 25 IPL matches, he has scored 772 runs at a strike rate of 173.87 and an average of 36.76, including a century and five half-centuries.

In IPL 2024 with SRH, Head played 15 matches, scoring 567 runs with a strike rate of 191.55 and an average of 40.50. He hit 64 fours and 32 sixes, proving to be a key player for SRH.

In 2017 with RCB, Head scored 151 runs in 7 matches, with a best score of 75* and a strike rate of 139.81. In his debut IPL season with RCB in 2016, he scored 54 runs in 3 matches with a strike rate of 135.

Nitish Reddy

Nitish Reddy is a young all-rounder who recently debuted for India in T20I. In 15 IPL matches, he has scored 303 runs with an average of 33.66 and a strike rate of 142.92. Known for his powerful hitting, he has two fifties and a top score of 76*, along with 15 fours and 21 sixes. He has also taken six catches in the field.

In IPL 2024, Nitish played 13 matches, scoring 303 runs with two half-centuries and a strike rate of 142.92, while also taking five catches.

Starting his IPL journey in 2023 with SRH, he played two matches but didn’t get a chance to bat, although he contributed with one catch. As a bowler, Nitish has bowled 109 balls in 9 innings, taking three wickets with a best of 2/17, though his economy rate of 11.39 shows room for improvement.
