Jasprit Bumrah to miss ICC Champions Trophy 2025
Jasprit Bumrah, India’s premier fast bowler, is set to miss the whole ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as he is yet to recover from the back injury he picked up in the final Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2025. The 31-year-old is already selected in the 15-man squad of India for the CT 2025, but according to the reports, he will miss the entire campaign.

The recent scan reports of Jasprit Bumrah say that the pacer has yet to fully recover to bowl. The medical team of the BCCI is monitoring him at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Currently, it is unclear when Bumrah will be fit to bowl at his full potential, but he will surely miss the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The fast bowler was already picked in the 15-man squad of India for the Champions Trophy 2025, and now it will be a big question of who will replace him in the team.
Harshit Rana has a bright chance of getting a call, as he is also performing well in the ongoing England tour of India 2025. Selectors might also think about Mohammad Siraj, who has been a regular member of the team for a very long time but missed the selection.
