With an average of 56.24, he has scored 9 centuries and 16 half-centuries, with a highest score of 241* which is also his highest Test score. Tendulkar played in the BGT series between 1996 and 2013, cementing his legacy as the highest run-scorer against Australia, far ahead of others on the list.

2. Ricky Ponting (Australia)

Australian great Ricky Ponting is second on the list, with 2,555 runs in 29 Tests at an average of 54.36. Ponting has 8 centuries and 5 half-centuries in the BGT, with a highest score of 257. The former Australian captain also holds the record for hitting the most boundaries (338 fours) in the series.
