In addition to the regular season, there will be a special NBA Cup tournament from November 12 to December 17, 2024. After the regular season, a playin tournament will take place from April 15 to 18, 2025, to finalize the playoff teams. The playoffs will begin on April 19 and continue through May or June 2025, with the NBA Finals scheduled to start on June 5, 2025.
