The IPL Star Riyan Parag, who recently made T20I debut against Zimbabwe is most likely to ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2nd ODI. The second match of the series is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 7th August. The first match of the 3-match ODI series ended in a tie with both teams managing to score same amount of runs. The second game of the series went in favour of hosts Sri Lanka and Indian team will look to bounce back in final ODI of the series. Riyan Parag, who had a prolific run in IPL 2024 and decent run against Sri Lanka in T20I series is likely to replace Shivam Dube in the squad and provide more balance and depth in batting.
